WELCOME TO STATION 4 BASEBALL
When I was 13 years old I decided that I was going to do
whatever it took to become a professional baseball
player, One day my father brought me to an indoor
batting cage in Natick, MA called “The Batter’s Box.”
There I met a man named Dennis Fosberg, who would end up
playing a huge role throughout the duration of my
career. Dennis quickly took me under his wing. He saw
the talent that I portrayed as well as my desire to
succeed. After numerous hours of one on one instruction
with Dennis at The Batter’s Box, he decided that he
would transform the basement of the Natick Fire
Department Station #4 into our own hitting station.
Between the hours of soft toss, tee work, and rides in
the fire truck talking about hitting, I will never
forget the days I spent at Station 4.
Dennis, I will always remember the time and attention
you gave me. Your guidance and positive reinforcement
were crucial to my success, I hope to someday be half
the influence to some young kid that you were to me.
This batting school is named in honor of you.
